Joshua Ken Vei Kwan is a Singaporean actor currently based in London. Pursuing his dream of becoming an international actor and physical storyteller.

ON STAGE

His stage credits include The Making of Harry Potter: Dark Arts (dir. Paul Harris) at Warner Bros Studio Leavesden, The Red Hare’s Wish (dir. Enrico Liou), Oh What A Lovely War! (dir. Rupert Hands), The Good Device (The Other Palace), Rain in the Serenade and the immersive production Time for Tea at The Pleasance Theatre. He also does Movement Directing for shows such as Taste Like Egg Fried Rice (Keyuan Zhang) a most recently ADEY ኣደይ (Bethlehem Wolday-Myers) at The Cockpit Theatre.

ON CAMERA

On screen, Joshua has worked across mocap, voice, and action-heavy productions. He’s currently filming as a SPACT for a popular returning Amazon show. He is the titular character for DUVET (Dir. Bel Parker) , being the creature and puppeteer for the monster and John for RAT (Dir. Aniya Miao).

In addition to performing, Joshua is an experienced video editor and social media manager, with 6+ years working under performers, choreographers, and theatre companies across Tiktok and other social platforms.

He is represented under 2 agencies: Audere Talent for Acting and Voice Fox for Voice Acting and Motion Capture! He is also part of the True Edge Fight Team one of the UK’s leading fight teams, and continues to develop his craft through workshops with companies such as ID Fight and Creature Bionics!

He holds a Singaporean passport and is currently based in London with a Graduate Visa. He studied at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (BA Acting) from 2020 to 2023.
